Rob Bruggeman

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Rob Bruggeman has served as a Director of AbraSilver Resource Corp. since 2018 and was Chairman until September 2025. During his tenure, the Company has advanced its flagship Diablillos asset in Argentina into one of the leading primary silver development projects globally.

Mr. Bruggeman brings over 15 years of experience in the mining sector, where he has worked with numerous junior resource companies in both executive and advisory capacities, with a focus on corporate development, capital markets, and strategic planning.

Prior to his involvement in the mining industry, Mr. Bruggeman spent a decade in equities research and trading in Toronto, Canada. He held the role of Vice President, Trading Strategy & Research at TD Securities from 2005 to 2010, where he specialized in equities research and proprietary trading/investment.

Mr. Bruggeman holds a Bachelor of Engineering & Management from McMaster University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Robert Scott

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Scott is an accomplished professional with 20+ years professional experience in accounting and corporate compliance, corporate finance, and merchant and commercial banking. He is a CPA, CA and a CFA Charterholder and has spent the last 18 years as a Senior Officer and Director of a number of issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. In that time he has helped raise in excess of $200 million in equity and has gained extensive experience in initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, as well as cost effective management of operations.

He currently holds Management and Board Positions with a number of TSX-V Listed Issuers.

Carlos Torres

VP Exploration

Carlos Torres is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in Colombia and internationally, spanning exploration, mining, and the evaluation and valuation of mineral projects. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as Vice President of Exploration at Sun Valley Investments in Colombia. He evaluated hundreds of mineral projects across the full development spectrum, including management of operating mines. Prior to that, Mr. Torres held the position of Technical Team Leader with the Colombian Ministry of Mines and Energy, where he designed Colombia's national framework for resource company engagement with local and ethnic communities, now adopted as a national standard. He was the Corporate Development Director at Mineros S.A. and played a key role in the acquisition of Hemco in Nicaragua.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Torres worked as a geologist with Batero Gold, AngloGold Ashanti, and Greystar Resources, and he has also served as Mine and Exploration Manager for small-scale gold producers, Touchstone Capital and at Hemco.

Mr. Torres holds a Master's in Applied Economic Geology from Queen's University and is working towards a Master's in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He is a licensed Professional Geologist (P.Geo.) in Ontario.

Melissa Martensen

Corporate Secretary

Melissa Martensen is an experienced administrator with over 12 years as a corporate secretary, primarily in junior mining companies. Prior to transitioning to junior mining, she worked in private banking at RBC. Ms. Martensen graduated with a degree in finance from UNBC in Prince George. She is a member of the Governance Professionals of Canada.

Thyana Alvarez

VP Corporate Relations & Country Manager

Ms. Alvarez is a social leader with over 20 years of experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Stakeholder Management, and Corporate Communications. She has a strong history of working closely with communities during the exploration and development stages of mining projects, even in challenging environments. Most recently, Ms. Alvarez served as the Sustainability Manager for Outcrop Silver & Gold, Libero Copper and Minesa, where she played a key role in building strong relationships with local communities, ensuring that projects were carried out responsibly and sustainably. Ms. Alvarez's dedication to social leadership was honored in 2024 when she was named one of Colombia's most influential women.
